Mind Map

I was inspired by a fairy tale I heard my parents tell as a child about a tree hole:
In the fairy tale The King Has Donkey Ears, the barber uses only one step:
he tells the secret to the big tree hole on the hill.
Apparently, the hole in the tree did not help him to keep the secret;
the flute made of this tree would tell
the secret as soon as he put it to his mouth and blew on it.
Sketch

We often have secrets that we don't want others to know about, but we
find it hard to keep inside, so the internet "tree hole" has become very
popular.
It is actually a "microblogging proxy", equivalent to a public account, with
a public password on the profile, so that anyone can log in and tweet.
You will not be "exposed". It's a great way for people to tell their own little
secrets and to spy on others without revealing their personal
information, which is why it's so popular.
Here you can "hear" what different people have to say, and your "voice",
even if it is small, will be heard.
Why are so many people willing to leave their secrets in a "tree hole"?
A 19-year-old Internet user, who has known about the "tree hole"
microblog ever since, often tells it his secrets, mostly when upset.
"It's a lot easier to talk about it. I want people to know the other side of
my life, but I don't want to pay for it." He said
The fact that so many people choose ‘tree holes' is actually a form of
herd mentality.
"The role of a 'tree hole' is very limited.
In the end, it is a place to let go of things, not a tool to pry into people's
privacy, so people trust it and it becomes a way of self-exculpation.
In my previous portfolio, I have done a project related to tree holes,
which is about the extremes of social oppression, the list of banned
books, and what forms of bondage existed for individuals and even
groups in a different cultural environment.
In the following projects, I want to return to the tree hole as a symbol
of secrets and continue to explore secrets and the relationship
between people and society.
The Tree Hole may not be a "quick fix", but it is always ready to
listen, just as the front page of the Tree Hole says: "Another way to
let go. There are 43,135 secrets here, and they're growing every day.
This is where I hope my work will have a clear function.
